In the morning there will be a talk introducing the newly released ADOPT Fund that is dedicated to putting farmers at the centre of innovation, followed by a talk on the Dairy Carbon Network and a Q&A.

Following a networking lunch, you will tour the facilities at the SWDDC before re-grouping for an Open Innovation workshop focused on animal health and welfare covering:

Dairy technology – how can technology help farms become more sustainable and resilient?
Slurry handling – slurry is a valuable resource but how can we measure and mitigate the disadvantages?
Animal health and welfare – Dairy cow and youngstock health is essential; how can innovation help?
