The show’s approach is very practical and welcoming. Our first show in 2023 saw the coming together of over 1,300 farmers, foresters, growers, tree nurseries, advisors, funders, food businesses and policy makers, all in consensus that trees are key for climate and farm resilience, positively impacting on soil, wildlife, and the environment, whilst also boosting food growing productivity.
Our 2025 show will comprise of two days of inspiring workshops, talks, field demonstrations and exhibitions, led by the country's leading agroforestry experts. This year we have also expanded our 121 advice tent where farmers can bring their ideas and agroforestry plans along for some bespoke advice. The host farm, Woodoaks, is a 300-acre farm with an additional 75 acres of semi-natural woodland, based just outside London. It was donated to the Soil Association Land Trust in 2020 to convert to organic, prioritising nature first farming techniques and restoring the biodiversity on the farm, including the introduction of agroforestry.
The Agroforestry Show is registered for 10 BASIS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points (equivalent of 5 per day). The event is also registered for 2 BASIS NRoSO CPD points (equivalent of 1 per day).
