Researcher
Richard is a data scientist and section head for Research Data & Systems at Rothamsted Research. His section provides research data stewardship and research software engineering expertise for Rothamsted scientists including the three National Bioscience Research Infrastructures (Long-term Experiments, Rothamsted Insect Survey and North Wyke Farm Platform).
Richard advocates for FAIR data in agriculture to realise the benefits of easily findable, interoperable, high quality and responsibly shared data.
