I have worked in ADAS since 2006 and in the Crop Physiology team since 2009. In recent years, my main research focus has been development and application of the ADAS ‘Agronomics’ approach to on-farm experimentation, or tramline trials. I typically manage 70-100 Agronomics trials each year across multiple commercial and publicly-funded projects, and support and train colleagues in running similar trials. Agronomics trials are conducted for all types of farm inputs and in an increasing range of crops including cereals, oilseeds, pulses, forage crops and field vegetables.
